Yesterday was the most hectic day for me throughout this whole week.
Attended my cousin's wedding and accompanied her as what they call "jie-mei" for the whole day.
It was a good experience for me la, just like what so many aunties said.
So the day started was my mum, sis and me arriving at the bride's house at 7 plus. There, we met the other jie-meis, mostly my cousin's friends. Ha, then being SO experienced(some have been jie-meis for over 10 times), they came up with lots tricks and punishment to tekam the groom and his "xiong-di". Gee. It was kinda fun la, just like in television shows, we blocked the front gate blah blah.. And we got our angbaos. The xiong-di was so lame that they put several specimen notes to trick us. HEH.



And then fast forward to the groom's house. Kinda quiet. Kinda solemn. Dont know why. Ha, maybe because the number of xiong-di and jie-mei plus the couple simply outnumbered the family members there. Lol. Oh! Did I mentioned that my sis and I were supposed to hold the back of the uberly heavy gown for my cousin all the way. phew.

And then went to my cousin's new house. Wah. Allll the way to Jurong. And there, she changed into those shocking red traditional china clothing and went Fullerton for photo-shooting.
Drove there and all the xiong di jie mei reckon that we need not go for photo shoots and ahha.. stayed in the car. AIRCON!

Oh! I didnt know until yesterday that there's a very detailed schedule for the couple to follow know.. haha. And so, being pressed for time, we rushed back to the bride's house and all those "drink-tea sessions" took place la.

Finally at about 2 plus, we went home. BUT! It's not the end! Ohmygosh.
After catching a short nap, we bathed and changed and cabbed to my cousin's house again.
Went there to catch a lombang to the hotel. I think it's Swiss Hotel bah. Not very sure.
Ha, we got to be there early coz I'm supposed to be the receptionist. OMG. Everything's my first time. Kinda scary. But then after a while, everything starts to fall in place and we collected lots lots angbaos. but it wasnt for me la duh. For that hour, I was in charge of tens of thousands. Lala~

Afterwhich we went up to the hotel room. Woah! Super class and romantic. Have a very good view of Singapore's CBD area.

Fast forward to the dinner. Havent been to a dinner for quite some time. Oh! I forgot to mention, cuz my cousin hubby is some officer in some army thingy. He had a march-in! With the sword barriers! SO cool!! With the golden swords and white top! they look uberly smart. Whahaha!
Halfway through, there's this love declaration by the groom. Awww.. so sweet. The content was very touching. wonder whether my cousin teared.
And then! Finally everything ended at 11 plus. And HOME SWEET HOME!

Yesterday was the first time in my life so far to witness a wedding procedure so thoroughly. First time I went arnd with so many working adults, sitting in their cars. Whoo! Anyhow, it was a great experience afterall. =)

I know u must be wondering a took 2.5hrs just for this right.
Here's why:
Firstly, the pictures are not "savable". Wah! Then I print screen and crop each, yah, EVERY SINGLE ONE ONE BY ONE. Woahhh!
And then after I got the pictures, I didnt know what programme I should use.
And I went to search on the net.
WAH! I saw some adobe photoshop thingy. But have to download bitcomet first.
and SO, i downloaded bitcomet. BUDDEN! After that, I still couldnt get access to the programme i want. WAH. very qi gek.
Nvm. tried word. As in microsoft Word. Which is like such a stupid choice.LOL.
By then, my sis walked in. suggested microsoft ppt.
And so I tried.
WAH! finally can.
So now down to the last prob.
I didnt know how to save it so I can use it as dp, wallpaper, blah blah. in simple, JPEG format.
and having help from SIMIN and FAITH, wah! Finally succeeded!
WHEE!!!

hah. Today went East Coast Park during my 2hr40min break.
Lol. Had subway and ahha! I finally change my impression of subway! you know why, coz i added mayo in my sandwich. DUH! I love mayo. EXtra mayo in Mos, extra in Mac burger and now. Whahah! in subway. <--- CRAP.

Ya. So, me, fanny, wenhui, faith, jiahui headed to ECP. Lol. Wanted to cycle. But then realised like not much time and better dont be late for the econs tut. you noe why. coz we very unlucky. always get caught when we pon econs lectures. AHH! lol. so in the end we only sat at the breakwater there and slack. And guess what??! We didnt keep track with the time and awwwww.. cab back. hai... what a waste of my money.

Ane, recently searching for a dress for wedding dinner.
Aiyoh, actually I dont really like this kind of formal formal occasions, den must dress up. And I very lazy to go dress up and also no $$ to shop for what I want also. Whats the point then?

Never once did I pon physics tut except that day when I forgot to bring tut ok.
I only pon physics lect for once ok.
ONCE! can you believe it?
I started studying physics sincesept holis ok.
I'm so determined to pass ok.
I put in so damn hell much effort ok.
I chiong to buy tys the day before physics exam ok.
not that i dont own one before that ok. I misplaced it IN MY BAG.
I swear I study for all the lecture tests ok.
I went for 2 sessions of physics tuition ok.
I studied ok.

But why cant whoever up there let me reap what I painstakingly sowed? Not even lecture tests. not even a pass ever granted so far.

I grabbed this from Chuanli's blog.
It's from The Outsiders, our lit book for sec 2.
I used to be able to recite this without looking at the page, but when I chance upon it just now, starting on each new line seems like reading a poem I've never read before.
As I was thinking, like this, many memories have kinda been pushed to the back of our mind over the years.. Isnt it?
The Outsiders reminds me of the secondary 1 and 2 days.
I recalled those who's seated around me during sec 2.
From clockwise, Hengky, Fenny, SangJin, Mingkee, Chuanli.
Wow, that was like a long long time ago.
I remember I was still a very guai student then.
Must pay attention and all.. Ha, and hengky and chuanli would purposely make noise and disturb me. LOL. And mingkee would be kinda entertained. I guess. Heehee.. making an assumption here. Our class used to be make fun of chuanli I think, calling him chunli. You know? The streetfighter(I guess) chunli, yeap, the girl.
And my clique of friends, kon, sheryl, yichen and blah blah... Hmm, where there're both happy and sad times.
In Mrs Tan's chinese class in sec 1, where everyone was so eager to answer questions and clean the board just for points. Lol. Cant believe the point system kept us entertained until sec 3 or 2, cant really rmber, geez.
Those were the "shorts" days, until the guys changed into long pants and everyone changed. Till today, everyone just gets on with his/her life, maybe once in a while making a blog entry reminiscing the past, just like what I'm doing now.
Maybe this is what they term, memories.
